Therapist based in the
Scottish Borders
I'm Kirsty
As a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist, my work is grounded in evidence‑based practice, but I recognise that no single approach fits everyone. That’s why I also integrate Compassion Focused Therapy and Metacognitive Therapy into my work.
By drawing from these complementary models, I’m able to create a personalised treatment plan that supports a more balanced, compassionate, and holistic path to wellbeing.
My aim is to offer a safe, thoughtful space where you can understand your experiences more clearly and develop practical tools for meaningful, lasting change. Together, we shape a new path - one that aligns with your values, supports the life you want to lead, and helps you move towards the goals you want to reach. A path where you feel fulfilled, purposeful, and empowered to navigate your journey with confidence.

“My time with Kirsty has been invaluable. I’m feeling calmer and more reflective about things. Not only have I gained lots of insight, but I’m also now able to step outside my thoughts and gain perspective. I have a renewed optimism for the future.”

“Kirsty has really helped me to see myself as the only person I am responsible for. To love myself. And, very importantly, not to give my thoughts 'legs'. We worked really well together, and that made things so much easier for me. The tools I’ve learned have made a huge impact on my life and I am so grateful for this.”
